Two families from the other ends of the economic spectrum find their fates irrevocably bound together when their teenage children get entangled during a tragic hit-and-run accident.

After making a nasty business investment, this struggling single father finds himself scrounging for money, just round the time his teenage daughter is in desperate need of help. She's trying to urge out of a terrible situation, involving an unfortunate car accident triggered by her drunken boyfriend whose parents are wealthy and well-connected.
Maya Hawke (from Stranger Things: Season 3) plays Schreiber's daughter, while her boyfriend's rich parents are played by Peter Sarsgaard (The Looming Tower) and Marisa Tomei (Spider-Man: faraway from Home).
Alex Wolff (Hereditary) and Fred Hechinger (Eighth Grade) also co-star.
The film, which premiered at TIFF last year, is inspired by the novel of an equivalent name by Stephen Amidon, which was already became a 2013 Italian film by writer-director Paolo Virzi.
Marc Meyers, director of the acclaimed indie thriller "My Friend Dahmer," directed the movie from a script by Oren Moverman (The Messenger).
"Human Capital" is hitting theaters and VOD on March 20th.
