Netflix has released the official trailer for the new true-crime documentary series "The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez."
Directed by acclaimed documentarian Brian Knappenberger (Nobody Speak: Trials of the press , We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists), this limited docuseries explores the tragic and shocking case of Gabriel Fernandez, an eight-year-old boy who was brutally abused and ultimately murdered by her mother and her boyfriend.
The documentary also will explore the utter failures of the l. a. County Department of youngsters and Family Services as four social workers also are placed on trial for culpable negligence within the boy's death.
