Toni Collette (Knives Out, Hereditary) is an amateur horse breeder within the first official trailer for the forthcoming inspirational feel-good British dramedy "Dream Horse."
Also starring Emmy-winner Damian Lewis (Homeland, Billions), the film is inspired by the incredible true story about how members of alittle Welsh village banded together to get a young racehorse within the hopes of being the proud owners of a world champion steed.
The film is additionally supported the 2015 documentary of an equivalent name by director Louise Osmond.
Collette portrays Jan Vokes, a Welsh cashier and bartender who urged her neighbors and friends to pulled their financial resources together to become equal partners of "Dream Alliance," a young racehorse with strong potential.
Joanna Page (TV's Gavin & Stacey) and Owen Teale (Game of Thrones) co-star.
Directed by acclaimed British TV helmer Euros Lyn (His Dark Materials, Last Tango in Halifax, Doctor Who), "Dream Horse" is scheduled to open in select U.S. theaters on May 1st.
